Exterior dimensions: Urus vs Trackhawk
The first thing we noticed is quite a huge difference in length. Lamborghini Urus is much longer than its American rival, for 304 mm or 12 inches. It is also 73 mm wider. On the other hand, Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is pretty much higher, for 87 mm (8,4 inch).
The reason might be the fact Urus is designed from scratch as an ultra-high performance SUV, while Trackhawk has a long and successful history behind. And of course, it must, in large part, share the form with its much weaker Grand Cherokee family.
Luggage compartment and weight: Lamborghini Urus vs Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
The same reasons as above probably apply to the cargo volume. Jeep Grand Cherokee has to face great competition. Of course, we have the weaker versions of this model in mind. And in this competition, the size of the trunk is very important.
Therefore, Trackhawk has a lot bigger luggage compartment than Lamborghini Urus. 166 liters with seats up and a large 334 liters more with folded rear seats.
Despite being longer and wider, Lamborghini Urus is much lighter compared to Trackhawk. The difference is more than 230 kilogram or more than 500 lbs.
Engine and performance: Urus vs Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
This is the part where Urus and Trackhawk are the kings of their class. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has 710 (or 707) HP, while Urus is a bit “weaker”, with “only” 650 HP. Maximum torque figures are very similar, the difference is negligible 25 Nm.
A more sporty shape is the reason why Lamborghini Urus is able to reach a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Grand Cherokee Trackhawk can be 10 mph (16 km/h) slower.
If you would have the chance to race Lamborghini Urus vs Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk on a straight line from standstill to 100 km/h (0-62 mph), Urus would be a little bit quicker, by 0,1 seconds. Its acceleration is 3,6 seconds, while Trackhawk can reach this speed in 3,7 seconds.
What about fuel economy of Urus vs Trackhawk?
We couldn’t find all the numbers on fuel consumption of Lamborghini Urus. But based on the numbers which circulate around the web, the Italian is probably more fuel efficient, with lower carbon oxide emissions. But honestly, who cares about these numbers?
For the end, the price of Lamborghini Urus vs Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk
And for the end, the price. Not much to talk about here. Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is much, much, much cheaper than Lamborghini Urus. You can actually afford 2.3 Trackhawk’s for the price of one Urus. Makes you think, doesn’t it?
