The Princess of Abu Dhabi wished a custom made BMW i8 in a special Lava red color. And guess what? This unique car is now already parked in her garage.

BMW i8 remains one of the most spectacular road cars, with a price tag of more than 100 thousand euros. The German sports car, which is otherwise powered by a hybrid drive, remains on the wish list of many drivers who can afford such a car.

Of course, BMW can optionally produce personalized version, that is tailored to the wishes of the customer. Thus, the car, made according to the wishes of Princess Al Hawi of Abu Dhabi, surely did not come from the car dealers regular stock. Recently, the local BMW car dealership handed over the keys to a customized i8 to her.

The car is mainly characterized by a special Lava red color, as well as numerous accessories from AC Schnitzer car tuning company. Among these are also the front air splitter, a special five spoke wheels as well as a rear spoiler.

About BMW i8

BMW i8 is a plug-in hybrid sports car developed by BMW. The production started in 2014. The pure electric range of i8 is around 30 kilometers (19 miles).

Combined maximum power from electric and 1.5-liter petrol engine is 362 HP, which is enough for the acceleration from 0–100 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

BMW managed to sell a little over 7,100 units worldwide, the car is otherwise available in more than 50 countries, while the USA market being the most important one with over 2,800 cars delivered by the end of 2015.

USA customers can get a brand new BMW i8 for around 135,000 USD, in the UK you need 100,000 pounds and in the home Germasn market your wallet will be thinner for 126,000 euros.
