Renault reveals the exterior of the new 2016 Renault Megane Grandtour. It will be officially presented in 2016 Geneva International Motor Show in the form of the GT version, which is expected to bring a four-wheel steering system 4control.
2016 Renault Megane Grandtour is one of this year’s most important Renault models
Renault continues this year’s model offensive at the Geneva Motor Show. In addition to the new Renault Megane Hatchback it brings its Estate Wagon version on the European roads. Renault will also try to persuade its customers with a sedan and station wagon version of Renault Talisman.
Megane Grandtour with the positive progress that was already brought by hatchback version
The French will expectedly put on display the sports version of the Renault Mégane Grandtour, labeled with letters GT. This version is recognizable by the blue color, better equipment, chrome tailpipes and the diffuser and aluminum roof racks. Low profile car with wide track is already a trademark of Megane Hatchback that we already met on the roads around Lisbon (Portugal) and Rovinj (Croatia).
As expected, Grandtour largely relies on the Megane hatchback, the difference between them begins from the C-pillar onwards, when the Grandtour enters into the estate wagon design.
Station Wagon with four wheel steering
Renault has not yet disclosed what will be the volume of the luggage compartment. Megane GT will be the first station wagon in its class with four-wheel steering named 4control. And if this steering will have a similar impact on driving characteristics as in larger Talisman, then 2016 Renault Megane Grandtour could become a smart choice for dynamic families.
More details on the new Renault Megane Grandtour will be known next Tuesday in Geneva Motor Show. Then they will probably also reveal more information and technical details of a classic Renault Mégane Grandtour version.
