The attractive two-seater Alfa Romeo 4C is the new athlete from Italy with a mid-engine position and rear wheel drive. The model also has a special honor because it’ll be the Alfa Romeo return to the old paths of glory in the USA.

Alfa 4C is designed in the style of a very interesting study, which was announced in 2011. The first live demonstration of Alfa Romeo 4C Concept was held in Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.

4C is a car for those who love this brand and especially for those who love to drive. With its design this car is not intended for everyday use, following the example of red role models from Maranello.

The heart is 1.7-liter turbo petrol engine.

4C has center built aluminum 1.7-liter petrol engine with turbocharger. The engine develops 240 horsepower (180 kW) at 6000 rpm with very low fuel consumption of 6.8 liter / 100 km (35 mpg).

Power is transfered through the Alfa TCT dual-clutch gearbox. Engineers did not forget the famous Alfa DNA system (with four drive mode settings – Dynamic, Natural, All Weather and Race).

Alfa Romeo 4C is being produced in Maserati factory in Modena. Production is limited to only 2,500 cars a year, most of them will go to Europe and the USA.

This model is the key for a serious return of Alfa Romeo to the U.S. market, where it has already been quite successful in the past.

The technical features, incredible Italian design and last but not least the price are the main reasons for rookie Alfa Romeo 4C to reach a wider range of customers including those in the US.

First Alfa Romeo 4C interior photo revealed

Simple and minimalist design of the interior.

Although the photo does not reveal all the details of this sports car which will return Alfa Romeo to the USA market, it reveals us the sports orientation of the interior. Steering wheel with a flat bottom, shift paddles, a lot of visible carbon fiber parts and a two sport seats made of light materials to provide a lot of sporting sense, but also comfort in this excellent new 4c.

Alfa Romeo predict simple and minimalist design of the instrument panel, some of the models will also have the classic brake and engine start with the key.

Alfa Romeo 4C Spider – topless Italian beauty

4C Spider has slightly modified headlights compared to the coupe, new rims and Akrapovic exhaust system.

In addition to original 4C Alfa decided to offer an open roof for the primal driving experience. Designers have taken advantage of the rigid structure of their sports coupe and made him a targa version, with the wish to further improve the feeling of a true sports car.

Car body of the Alfa 4C Spider is additionally reinforced. In some individual body parts more carbon and composite material SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) is used (carbon security bows to protect the driver and passenger, carbon windscreen frame, rear window made from SMC).
